The Biodistrict ‘South Sardinia and the Sulcis Archipelago’ with the support of the Sardinia Region and the collaboration of IN.N.E.R. – International Network of Eco Regions and GAOD – Global Alliance for Organic Districts, promotes the International Seminar ‘BIODISTRICTS’, which will take place on 6 November 2024 in Cagliari, Italy.
In addition to local institutions and biodistrict operators, the participation of international speakers was significant, in addition to the GAOD President Salvatore Basile, and the INNER President Emilio Buonomo.
The European Commission Agriculture Commissioner Janusz Wojciechowski opened the event. Armindo Jacinto from the Portuguese biodistrict of Idanha-a-Nova, Aina Calafat from the Spanish biodistrict of Mallorca, Ove Jacobsen from the Norwegian biodistrict of Nordland and Pavle Dordevic from the Serbian biodistrict of Kolubara then gave their experiences. Dr Stefania Mastromarino from the Italian Ministry of Agriculture closed the workshop.
